Relax Release Rejuvenate
‘Kansa’ means ‘bronze’ and originates from Sanskrit ‘Kamsya’. This metal alloy is a combination of copper and tin with trace elements such as zinc. It is known in India as the healing metal.
Treatments using the Kansa wand or Kansa bowl integrate massage of the marmas (Indian acupressure points) using nourishing oils. Both the wand and bowl can move deep into the muscles for optimum tension release.
In Indian it is often said that “when you have no time to massage your whole body, at least massage the soles of your feet”.
Using a Kansa bowl and nourishing oils this massage is deeply revitalising for tired feet and legs.
The treatment begins by cleansing the feet and legs followed by relaxing foot and leg moves to release tension. Then slowly and methodically the lower legs and the entire feet are encouraged to relax through the application of massage techniques. The treatment continues with special moves performed using the Kansa bowl. Marma massage (Indian acupressure) is then applied to specific points on the lower legs and feet.
