Seated Exercise

What is Seated Exercise?

Is a series of exercises that allow someone who is less mobile the opportunity to increase their heart rate and exercise limbs without bearing their own weight. These gentle exercises can be adapted to be done seated or standing and small equipment is used. Use of equipment is optional.

Seated Exercise is Suitable for?

This can be an effective form of exercise for those with foot, ankle, knee or hip problems.


Gentle, mindful exercise which encourages mobility, flexibility, strength and posture, plus 10 minutes mindfulness session (or the body to rest and integrate the exercises).
