Counselling and Supervision
Diploma in Counselling, Diploma in Supervision, Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapists.
Talking to a counsellor about your worries and fears can be a daunting prospect but Alison is here to listen, whatever you want to say. She offers you a safe place to talk where you can be the “real you”. Sometimes it can help to talk things through with someone who listens, who is non-judgemental and who encourages the working together aspect that counselling provides. Alison’s training includes working with trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, bereavement, eating disorders, low self-confidence & OCD. Included in her integrative approach is CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and Brief Solution Focused Therapy. Alison is also trained in couples counselling. Alison qualified as a counsellor in 2009 after completing the Counselling Diploma at Bexhill College and in 2012 became an accredited member of the BACP. She recently qualified as a Supervisor, having studied at The Link Centre in Newick. Alison provides private and confidential long or short term counselling.
