Elma discovered Acupuncture some 9 years ago following a period of personal ill health and it has literally transformed her life. She loves working with this medicine and seeing her patients recover is the best buzz yet! She keeps up to date with new research and techniques by attending a variety of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses each year including the British Acupuncture Council’s annual conference. She enjoys the variety of general practice, and is passionate about sharing the benefits of this wonderful system of medicine with her patients. She has a wide ranging practice but also has special interests in all aspects of women’s health and in using Acupuncture for male and female fertility concerns, minor pregnancy and menstrual problems. Elma is a member of the British Acupuncture Council whose members are bound by a strict code of ethics and practice. Practising in the UK is covered by professional indemnity and public liability insurance. Elma also has over 30 years’ experience as a Registered General Nurse and will be pleased to answer any questions you may have.


BSc(Hons) MBAcC L.Ac. Elma trained at the International College of Oriental Medicine in whole body acupuncture, working with Five Elements, Stems and Branches acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, graduating with a degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
