What is Fitness Pilates?
Fitness Pilates is more of a functional approach to the traditional Pilates class. It still applies the main principles of Pilates such as breathing, concentration, relaxation, balance and control, but it also involves more functional movement for everyday life.
Why Fitness Pilates?
Anyone can take part in Fitness Pilates regardless of age, sex, and level of fitness. Each exercise can be done at different levels of intensity with extra modifications for anyone with specific muscular or joint limitations. If you are in any doubt, it is always advisable to check with your GP before undergoing any exercise programme. You are encouraged to work at your own level, building up strength, endurance and flexibility gradually at your own pace.

Fitness Pilates will help you to improve your overall body strength with the main emphasis on your back and core muscles. It will also help to improve posture, mobility, joint problems and tone your body.
