Seated Fitness

What is Seated Fitness?

Seated Fitness is a series of exercises that allow someone who is less mobile the opportunity to increase their heart rate and exercise limbs without bearing their own weight. These gentle exercises can be adapted to be done seated or standing and can incorporate exercise equipment if required.

Why Seated Fitness?

This gentle, mindful exercise encourages mobility, flexibility, strength and posture. It is an effective form of exercise for foot, ankle, knee or hip problems.

Each session includes a 10-minute mindfulness session towards the end so your body can rest and integrate the exercises.
