Would you like to attend a Pilates class but have an existing orthopaedic condition? We can help…
For clients who would like to take part in a Pilates session but have an existing orthopaedic condition, we can assist in the prevention, rehabilitation and management of some of the most common orthopaedic conditions.
Lynne Ratcliffe our Pilates instructor, is offering clients with similar orthopaedic conditions, the opportunity to attend 1-2-1 or small group sessions first, before then participating in mainstream classes.
Lynne is not qualified to diagnose a condition, and clients must always get the correct diagnosis from their G.P. or Physiotherapist but she can work alongside these professionals after you have been given the all-clear to exercise.
Some of the orthopaedic conditions covered are:
Sciatica
Arthritis
Hyper-mobility
Rotator Cuff injury
Osteoporosis
Hip or knee replacements
Non specific lower back disorders
Herniated Disc
Pyriformis syndrome
Tennis or golfer elbow
Trochanteric bursitis of the hip,
Meniscal tears
Ligament injuries in the knee
